Problem: A Hot Dog Line in Ready to Eat Section of the food plant was running Habasit IS610 Radius belt on a straight running conveyor and there was foreign material contamination concerns by the ready-to-eat QA manager.

Solution: We were called to help solve the problem! We tested and supplied 125DD Ultra Tuff in Blue. Since custom sprockets (3/4” round Bore and 2.1 PD, 6T) are difficult for Safari, our local distributor was able to use Interlox to supply the customized sprockets. The plant is happy with the performance and can rest easy knowing if the belt does break it will be picked up in their metal detectors prior to any potential recall due to foreign contamination!
